Consecutive wins at Sánchez Pizjuan a source of optimisim
Valencia CF have a final roll of the dice in their attempt to qualify for European football for the third consecutive season, when they take on Sevilla FC this Sunday at 9pm CEST in LaLiga. The team will be boosted by their victory over RCD Espanyol in midweek, and are depending on another win at the Sánchez Pizjuan, combined with other results in their favour. They need Getafe CF to not take maximum points on the final day, or for Real Sociedad to lose.

They are the only team to have won their last two away league games against Sevilla (2017/18 and 2018/19). Only seven different sides have been able to win against the Andalusian team on the road in that time. Valencia CF were 0-1 victors down south last season, through a Dani Parejo goal, and before that a Rodrigo brace enabled a 0-2 win.

No LaLiga team has performed better at Sánchez Pizjuán in the last two full seasons. Valencia CF now go up against a side already qualified for the Champions League, but who are still competing for third place in LaLiga with Atletico Madrid. They need to beat Sevilla to have any chance of breaking into the Top 7.
